K. And I were out the door at six for an early morning walk. Jan had handed us a couple train/subway/bus passes the day before and said, “Just use these wherever you go!”

So we took a short ride from Leylylan station to the Vondel Park.

  After the park, we hoofed it back to the house.

           and took our breakfast at the corner dining table. 

 Thank you Mr. And Mrs. DeVries! (and nice face, Keenan) That’s a borderline no-smile smile)

Next, the storm!

    What grand pictures and super beginning for a wonderful trip. All is well in Seattle.
    Grandpa and I are hoping to get away for little trips this month . Stay in touch! Love you both. Grandma Zoa

      Thank you for the mail, Grandma, and you have a good trip too! Keenan. Thanks, Zoa, we’ve been moving around a lot. This afternoon we’re gonna stick around at the B&B so we can get some stuff done (I have to catch up on this blog and Keenan has to do homework and let the blisters on his feet heal!) Dan
